My first summer festival involved travelling up to Stratford upon Avon for Godskitchen's biggest event yet. And to make the festival experience authentic there was even a torrential downpour during the night courtesy of the blighty English weather. The journey back to London was a total nightmare with shuttle bus coordinations all over the place and we took almost 5hrs to get back, twice the time it should have been. Nevertheless, it was an experience to cherish especially the crowd warming performance of a certain Fat Boy Slim, where even growing drizzle did not stop the punters from dancing in the rain.
