While the girls have watched a match in Manchester, they have yet to watch one in our own backyard in London. Even worse is soccer fanatic David's case, who hadn't watched a live match prior to this. And although i'm sure he would have liked that a Man Utd match pop his cherry, given the circumstances, this Carling Cup match had to do. With the disappointment of Southend knocking Man Utd out the day before, we were elated to watch a complete Champions performance against their Brummie rivals. Most of all i was glad to see the full first team including the likes of summer signings Shevchenko and Ballack in the flesh. Although i know at least one person was disappointed with John Terry not making the teamsheet. After which it was off to T.G.I.Fs (Bodeans being fully booked) to satiate our hunger where we dined till we were the last customers for the day. Blue is the Colour!
