With my parents up in London, we decided to get away for a short holiday (read: shopping on Champs Elysées) via the Eurostar. I had to be persuaded but only if the trip included some form of sightseeing instead of just the boutique trawling that they were after. Having been to Paris thrice prior to this and not having been into the Lourve and Orsay, I was determined not to let the opportunity slip this time despite the tight 2 day schedule. And so a compromise was met. The first day my parents went shopping while I opted to do some exploration of my own (I bought my Nabaztag/Tag from Virgin Megastore there) and at night we dined at two Michelin starred eating institution Lasserre. The next day was beautiful and sunny, and we spent it taking photographs (alot of which I have converted to black and white) while visiting the museums and other sites. It was short, but nonetheless, it was family time well spent. A trip to remember and finally some black and whites to add to the family photo album!
